Summary

As the Commercial Manager, you are responsible for developing and refining commercial procedures, templates, and processes to ensure efficient operations and successful project outcomes. Your tasks include customizing Change Management and Claims Management procedures for specific projects, managing internal Change Management and Claims Management processes, and familiarizing package leads with Supplier change management procedures.
Additionally, you will integrate supplier changes and claims into management reports, create standard letters and templates for claims, and enhance the commercial knowledge of the team.


About this position

In your role, you will also be the Commercial Lead for contracts, providing contractual advice during proposals, overseeing agreement creation and contract document reviews, and drafting official correspondences to stakeholders. Your role extends to assisting in procurement strategy, managing change management, claims, and final account settlements, and ensuring accurate reporting through change and claims management logs.

This is what you will do

  • Owner and Driver of Commercial Procedures
    • Develop Change Management and Claims Management procedures tailored to project needs.
    • Manage internal Change Management and Claims Management for ongoing projects.
    • Lead the commercial team to expand their knowledge and awareness.
    • Identify and implement improvements to commercial procedures, templates, and processes.
  • Contractual Advisory and Management:
    • Provide strategic contractual advice during tendering processes.
    • Oversee creation and review of contractual agreements and documents.
    • Initiate official correspondences and manage commercial terms for procurement packages.
    • Manage change management, claims, and final account settlements.

Education and Experience

  • Must posses a good working knowledge of English and French; proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.

About the interview process

We like to move fast and probably you do too. We get it. Nevertheless, we believe in hiring people, not “just” candidates.  We value individuals who have a unique story to share, and we are committed to dedicating time to hear it.

This call will cover similar topics as the in-person interview but will be conducted via video conference.
