Summary
The Bid Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for managing the end-to-end process of bid submissions and ensuring alignment with technical and commercial requirements. This role involves collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to create value-for-money proposals that meet customer needs and contribute to the successful acquisition of projects.

As Bid Manager, you will need to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Legal, Engineering, Finance, Commercial & Quality, Procurement, and Project Management to drive successful project acquisitions.

This is what you will do

Draws up evaluation reports with the Proposal Manager to improve bidding processes

Submits required documents for management approval, ensuring compliance

Discusses contract terms with stakeholders to negotiate favourable conditions

Prepares quotation files for “Value for Money” alignment with the proposal manager

Evaluates tender requirements to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

Determines final sales price based on cost calculations and management consultation

Organizes follow-up meetings to update the risk register and manage risks proactively

Prepares tenders with a focus on commercial and contractual specifications

Acts as main customer contact for bid-related matters, providing professional responses

Manages coordination with partners in consortium for seamless collaboration

Organizes Project Transfer Meetings (PTMs) to ensure smooth project transition after winning a project
Skills and abilities
Must Haves
-
Proven experience in bid management for complex EPC projects

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

Proficiency in French, as well as fluency in English, to communicate with clients and partners

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective evaluation and resolution of issues that may arise during a project
Nice to haves

Previous experience in waste-to-energy projects or similar renewable energy sectors

Working experience in a multicultural environment, preferably within the EU region
Education and Experience

Hold an engineering master’s degree or equivalent by experience
-
Possess a minimum of 3 years or more of relevant work experience in a technical commercial role
Languages:
