Eco Expo Asia 2025: Driving Circular Economy Solutions.

Keppel Seghers – Zhen Hua Joint Venture was proud to showcase our expertise at Eco Expo Asia 2025, under the Circular Economy & Waste Management Zone.

At our booth, we highlighted the Hong Kong Integrated Waste Management Facilities Phase 1 (HKIWMF) – Hong Kong’s first integrated waste management facility, set to commence operations in 2026.
Located off Shek Kwu Chau, HKIWMF will:
– Process 3,000 tonnes/day of municipal solid waste, reducing volume by over 90%
– Generate 100MW of green electricity, cutting reliance on fossil fuels
– Recover 200 tonnes/day of metals, plastics, and glass for reprocessing.

The Expo brought together 340 exhibitors from 13 countries, with thematic zones spanning Circular Economy, Green Finance, Smart Mobility, and more. From the VIP opening ceremony to forums on hydrogen energy, net-zero built environments, and smart mobility, the event reinforced the importance of collaboration in advancing sustainability.
