5th Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference, Qatar Ministry of Environment, Doha

We’re proud to announce that our colleague Benoit Englebert represented our shared vision at the 5th Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference, hosted by the Qatar Ministry of Environment in Doha. Participating virtually, Benoit helped shine a spotlight on the transformative potential of Waste-to-Energy (WTE) technologies and their role in shaping a more sustainable future.

As the world accelerates its transition from a linear to a circular economy, one truth stands out: not all waste can be recycled, but that doesn’t mean it’s without value. WTE offers a powerful pathway to recover energy from non-recyclable materials, turning challenges into opportunities for innovation and impact.

Waste-to-Energy steps in where traditional recycling ends, transforming non-recycable materials into clean energy (electricity, heat and steam), while recovering valuable resources like ferrous and non-ferrous metals and mineral aggregates.  WTE helps close the loop, ensuring that even the most challenging waste streams contribute to a more resilient and circular future.
